ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Jim Tuller. PGA BFGC Director of Instruction
Jim is a lifetime member of the PGA and began teaching golf while stationed in Heidelberg, Germany with the US 7th Army in 1967. Jim has had many successful teaching programs for both adults and juniors over the last 35 years. He has worked with several tour players such as Bernard Langer, Michelle McGann, Olin Browne, and Jasper Parnevick.
His successful playing career includes being a 1975-77 Iowa Match Play Champion, 1984-85 South Florida PGA, Southeastern Chapter Player-of-the-Year, and 1994 South Florida Section Senior Champion & Florida State Senior Open Champion. He also had a short fling at the Senior (Champions) Tour.
Jeff Penkwitz, PGA BFGC Director of Golf
Jeff has been a member of the PGA of America since 1989 and was employed as the Director of Golf with The Golf Courses of Lawsonia from 1992-2004. He has been presented with the Wisconsin PGA Merchandiser of the Year in 1994 and 1998. He has attended the Hank Haney Golf Swing Seminar and has participated in many of the PGA’s instruction training courses. Jeff has taught various junior programs, group seminars, and individual lessons for twenty years.
